COVID-19: This Is The Way The West Ends Not With A Bang But With A Dry Cough

So this is it. This was the plan. The. Whole. Time.

There were never going to be millions of deaths. This was never THAT big of a deal. No. COVID was a catalyst. And not a real catalyst either. Just one that optically fit the bill enough to get the coward-piven ball rolling down the hill.

Lets think through this once.

STEP 1: FEAR
In February people start getting more concerned about COVID and then we learn that it could be worse than China was letting on. The fear is sufficient to get things rolling and that is what is important for radicals to lay the groundwork by promulgating the idea that we were in an existential crisis.

STEP 2: DESTROY THE ECONOMY
Then as we got into March and started seeing numbers in Italy we panicked and pulled the ejector handle on control of our lives and made it extremely easy for the radicals to institute step 2.

We quit working and went home. Anyone in the service industry stopped working and lost all income. Many of us are still working but it wont be long before there will be less to do and even essential business will sag. Bank accounts dwindle and people start to get desperate. The hair stylists and bartenders on your Facebook newsfeed and Twitter feed will overwhelm you with uncertainty, angst and hatred of the Bad Orange Man. This brings step 3.

STEP 3: DIVIDE POLARIZE AND SILENCE
We were already personalized because of social media so the alinskyites pivoted and used it and the rest of the media to further the divide between all of us. From there they promulgated articles laying out the argument that anyone saying we should go back to work is a sociopath or even murderer. Articles claiming that the biggest gaslighting ever was coming to condition people to think that anyone who pointed out the insanity of what was happening was actually gaslighting them. Clever.

(you are here)

With that, the armies of the radical looters gang up on anyone sounding the alarm and they begin polarizing the debate into rich vs poor. “The evil rich want to send you back to work to DIE so they can save their stock portfolio.” “If you want to open the economy up you are either a sociopath, evil billionaire or a bootlicker.” Don’t believe me? Scroll through your feed.

From there the useful idiots delete those who disagree with them or try to shout them down and shame them to silence.

So now many are unemployed and desperate and the sane voices that would normally be available to them have either been silenced or worse. This makes the way straight for step 4.

STEP 4: BRAKE STAND
While the shutdown and hysteria firmly holds the nations left foot on the brake pedal of the economy stomp the right foot on the gas pedal.

Fucking. Brilliant.

While many are staying home, creating both a supply side and a demand side nightmare, open up massive amounts of stimulus. Tens of millions of people are going to get significantly more to stay home and do nothing than if they had continued to work. (seriously look at the current Democrat stimulus plan being pushed on the pathetically weak Republicans) Nobody is producing any goods to balance out the injection of cash. As a result once people get some confidence in the cash flow they will want to spend it on stuff. The service industry is still shut down so people wont drink it all away.

Hmmmmm….. more dollars……..less goods……. I think I have heard of this before.

Dramatically more dollars will invert the demand side shock while deepening the supply side shock and that will spark EXPLOSIVE inflation.

It will be very convenient for the left to go into the November election in a stagnant economy with massive inflation. The Stagflation of the 70’s was nothing compared to what is coming. Everyone will have plenty of money but there will be nothing to buy and that will set the table for step 5.

STEP 5: SWEEP AND STOMP
In the November elections the residual fear over COVID + economic depression + massive inflation will = a complete sweep of the elections in people who’s life long dream looks a lot like the Cloward Piven Strategy. (google it loser)

With so many concurrent emergencies the leftist junta arriving in Washington next January will have all the excuses needed to explode entitlement spending on an ONGOING basis and restrict the rights of those who resist the Constitution be damned. At least until the emergency is over of course. Except it will never be over. It is never supposed to be over. The spending will crash the currency and the credit rating of the government so more government income will be required.

Who has money? Hmmm….

The mob of looters will surround anyone with retirement savings, a stake in a successful business or really anyone with a decent income and shake them whilst holding them upside down until there is nothing left. Massive taxes on income, massive taxes on retirement accounts, nationalization of massive industries and seizure of assets will deal the economy a finishing blow. (they will call it universal Medicare or something Orwellian like that) The last of the productive class will quit and withdraw their creative intellectual energy from the marketplace. As this shift begins to be sensed the bernie bros will demand that the selfish industrialists be rounded up and prevented from abandoning their responsibility to provide for the poor and minorities that they have oppressed for so long.

STEP 6: ENSLAVE
Now there is no hope. The economy can not be saved. The debt service payments will never be made. The dollar? worthless. Government bonds? Junk status. We can’t produce everything we need as it is so in the new normal essential goods will be rationed. Imports will become impossible because there will be no currency of value to exchange for it. The cost of goods will inflate so quickly that what little employment that remains will not even afford a family enough to survive.

The only answer? Government.

The more the plans fail the more the planners plan and more and larger stimulus checks will be handed out to enable people to get enough essential goods….. Until there aren’t enough essential goods for people to even survive.

Then we are Venezuela. We work when the government tells us to work. We are paid what the government says we can get paid. We keep what the government says we get to keep. We buy what the government says we can buy. And we eat IF the government decides we get to eat.

We. Will. All. Be. Slaves.

Don’t passively wander along with the looters.

Demand that the economy be opened. Demand common sense pandemic response. (Distancing. Masks. Temp checks. Shift staggering. Work from home etc.)

Do not let history look back at us and wonder how it was that those who had the most to lose did the least keep it.

Do not cooperate with those who seek your destruction.

All evil needs to win is the consent of good people.

“Do not let the fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark in the hopeless swamps of the not-quite, the not-yet, and the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserved and have never been able to reach. The world you desire can be won. It exists.. it is real.. it is possible.. it’s yours.” -J. G.-

Career Building Mansplained

Have you ever felt lost?

I don’t mean you took a wrong turn on your way to a wedding in an unfamiliar town. GPS and smart phone have all but done away with that. I mean lost in your own life. You half way know where you came from, have only the most tenuous handle of where you are now and have no clue where you are going. Maybe you have an idea where you want to get to but no idea how to get there. You probably don’t think about it all the time because every time you do think about it you become over-whelmed with anxiety and never seem to get closer to a plan.

I know how you feel. Confused, angry, even depressed. You probably have a personal idol that you look up to and would like to emulate. Maybe you want, loosely speaking, the life that person has, but how do you get that life? Asking your idol for direction isn’t that helpful because they either have a different set of strengths and weaknesses than you do and even if that isn’t the case their path has been washed away by the shifting winds and sands of time. Your friends are lost too, whether they know it or not, so there is little value in asking them.

Your life is full of people who loudly and even aggressively tell you that they know the way you need to go but all of them simply are seeking to take advantage of you. In your teen years everyone, most notably your loser high school guidance councilor, tells you the way is an expensive college degree, but how do you choose what degree to get and what school to go to? Is taking on massive student debt worth it or does the educational industrial complex just need you to take the loans and pursue a degree, any degree, just to keep itself growing? Will you get the skills you need to start a fulfilling career or are you mortgaging your future to keep some professors employed? You look at the list of available majors and degrees and intuitively know that few of them have any chance of leading to a job that will even enable you to earn enough money to pay off your loans. Of course, if you ask these questions out loud to the people around you, you will be branded a closed-minded asshole.

Then there are the people that will tell you that they have a “business opportunity” for you that will change your life and lead you to financial freedom and personal fulfillment. These people will lure you into their direct marketing trap with unbridled enthusiasm and intoxicating positivity. These people seem so nice, so wonderful and so happy. But are they really though? Any so called opportunity that requires you to buy your own product and lure in more desperate people to work under you so that you can perhaps predate on their misguided enthusiasm isn’t really an opportunity at all. Instead these are well-baited traps. Of course, if you point any of this out to the people that are currently in the snare and begging you to join them they will also brand you a close-minded asshole.

If you want to make it. If you want to succeed. If you want financial freedom and professional fulfillment be prepared to lose a lot of friends and be called an asshole on a regular basis. Real business opportunities will involve high barriers to entry that you need to be uniquely able to overcome. After all, if anyone can do something then there will be so much competition that you wont be able to make a good living. The key is not to be positive and enthusiastic but rather to be cold and calculating. You are about to embark on a long and difficult road that is full of diversions, hard work and potholes and utterly devoid of sex appeal. You are going to do what nobody else is willing to do so that someday, someday sooner than you may think but certainly further away than you want, you will be able to liver better than the sheep you find yourself surrounded by now. You are about to embark on step one of your journey and it will be YOUR JOURNEY. Nobody else will have a story quite like you.

STEP ONE: Self Evaluation

There are many tools available to you in your quest for honest self evaluation. Your family will provide many clues. Not consciously mind you as asking them what to do will be useless for the reasons laid out above. Instead you will find that you will share a great deal of strengths and weaknesses with your family for a complex combination of reasons involving both biological and environmental determinism. Through genes and shared life experiences you are perhaps more like your parents than you will be comfortable to admit when you are 18 or 22. Your fore-bearers will have found many ways to take advantage of your shared strengths and shed light on a litany of potholes and landmines that they stepped on due to your shared weaknesses. You don’t need to pick the same career as your parents but ask yourself what about them makes them good or bad at their jobs? How many of those attributes do you share? What should they have done differently to better leverage their strengths and minimize their weaknesses? Research what those personality quirks and qualities would do for you or to you in various types of careers.

Once you have exhausted your family history as a source of personal understanding its time to take an uncomfortably close look at the one person who will make or break your dreams. You. Nobody on this planet can know you better than you can know yourself if you are honest with you. What types of classes do you get good grades in, how do you work in groups, do you solve problems abstractly or systematically, are you musical or mathematical, are you more inclined towards jobs that involve people or things, are you smart or are you a little slower. Boil away your fear of heights, love of international travel and your affinity for a particular breast size and reduce yourself to a set of attributes that combine uniquely to make you able to offer something to the world that nobody else on the planet can offer the way you can.

There are a number of tools at your disposal. Meyers Briggs, The Big 5 Personality Traits and IQ tests are not voodoo or fun little things you can take to make you look better than your friends. These are tools that can help you understand how well you will likely be able to function in various environments and what things you need to work on in your quest. Research what types of careers match well with your level of conscientiousness, orderliness, neuroticism, intuitiveness etc. Then most uncomfortably you need to get honest with yourself with your IQ level. What types of careers fit your IQ level? Remember that IQ isn’t a measure of what you know but a measure of your ability in abstraction and critical thinking. You can’t study your IQ level up and by the time you reach adulthood your IQ will almost entirely be determined by your genetics. You can’t change it so don’t try. Rather let it shed light on what types of careers you can be successful in and how hard you will have to work to get started and advance.

STEP TWO: Pick a Heading

At this point your own interests, abilities, attributes and weaknesses will be pointing you toward a particular career or maybe a few careers. Pick the career that will be both doable and challenging. You will feel the most professionally fulfilled when you reach a position in which you can both perform effectively and have to use your full mental capacity. You don’t want to be promoted to a level above which you are able to succeed and you don’t want to waste your self doing something that is beneath your abilities. You  don’t want the first challenge to be beyond your capability or be able to get to the top spot in a field without challenge. Don’t worry about feeling locked in either. Inevitably as you traverse the road to success you will learn more things about the world and yourself and new information will enable you to make better new decisions. If you find that you need to course correct do not be afraid to do so.

STEP THREE: Tool Up
If you understand yourself and the field that you want to get into then you are almost certainly staring down some high barriers to entry. They stand before you like great walls of a city that you seek to conquer and anyone who seeks to scale a wall, let alone conquer a city, needs the right tools so TOOL UP! This is where you need to think objectively about education. Research what degrees will be most likely to help you get into the field of your choice and how much debt you will have to acquire to get that degree. Compare the debt level with average entry-level salary and what it will be five years later. Now, be honest with yourself about how much debt you will acquire. A degree that will get you into a challenging field will also be difficult and if you are academically challenged then you probably won’t be able to work full time while in school. If the debt level will be several times your first year salary then don’t go to school. There are exceptions like lawyers and medical doctors of course but in general you should be able to get a degree with less debt than your first year of salary when you finish. If that isn’t the case then most likely school will not be a tool for you but rather a trap.

If you are reading this and the degree you are pursuing will net you $150k in debt and get you a job that pays $30k per year, for instance, if you are pursuing a degree in History at a private college and you are NOT at the very top of your class then you need to quit. Seriously quit. Don’t fall victim to the sunk cost fallacy. I spent many years surrounded by people pursuing degrees in Africology or Art who racked up tremendous amounts of debt and when they finished the best thing on their resume was the crap job they worked during school to get by. Also, if you are pursuing a degree that involves more ideological indoctrination than learning foundational job skills you need to get out. Today. Leave. Now. If you are sitting in a class right now and reading this while ignoring your professor you need to stand up and leave NOW.

Your education that you are choosing now will give you a credentials and skills to get into the career you want and it doesn’t matter if that degree has sex appeal or not. Going to Tech school and getting into the trades is a great option that not enough people avail themselves of. For the most part nobody cares where you got your degree or even what your degree was once you are started in your career.

Work, work, work. Yes I know you probably wont be able to work full time in school but its important that you work as much as you can. Choose jobs that help build the skills and resume you will need later. Note that these jobs may not be the best paying jobs available. I know bar-tending is fun and you can make good money at it during school but it can be trap. You don’t want to be stuck bar-tending once you finish your degree and nobody wants to marry a 30 year old bartender.

STEP FOUR: Get a “Real Job” but don’t be defined by it
By this point you are in your early to mid 20s, you have a girl that you are in love with and you are sick of being poor. Take a moment to feel sorry for yourself. Ok moment over, never feel sorry for yourself again. You may need to get rid of the girl. She will probably leave you anyway so just get it over with. The road you are on will be miserable for another five years and she probably wont have the patience for the path you are on. Plus you need to be able to move for a job if you need to. Unless of course she is on the same path you are and is fully willing to sacrifice for another five years to maximize your, and her, potential. If that’s the case marry the queen right now. Today. Seriously go and do it.

Your first real job or three will get you all the skills that you don’t have any idea you need to be really successful later on. Working at a big company with a comparatively high starting salary will be tempting and have sex appeal but resist the urge. Work at a small or even struggling company. You will have to wear more hats and learn how to do more things well to be successful. The pay will likely suck but get over it. You are at that job to get ready for the next job and not make the most money today. Sacrificing some pay and prestige at this stage will force you to learn how to do your job faster as well as learn how to do other people’s jobs and you won’t have a safety net. Learning without a net will force you to learn on the fly and survive in the most difficult of situations. You are also going to work alot of hours. Think of a 40 hour week as a vacation. The kind of thing you will get every now and then but most of the time be willing to put in 50+. You may decide to get another degree part time at night while you work to round out your credentials and back up the skills you are gaining. Its OK to do so but keep paying your debt and take as many classes as you can afford while doing a pay-as-you-go scheme. Traveling the world in your 20s will almost definitely not be in the cards. You will almost definitely need to change jobs at some point. Once you have learned all you can in the first job pick up sticks and jump into the next fire that will serve as a crucible to strengthen and refine you into someone that everyone will fight over.

STEP FIVE: Profit
Once you go through this process you will probably be in your late 20s or early 30s. You may have a gut and not be able to touch the rim anymore. Your alcohol tolerance is probably not what it once was. You will also have a a skill set and a resume that will make the employers you really want to work for compete for your services. You will have the personal confidence that only comes with knowing how far you can really push yourself without breaking. You are either debt free or close to it and able to command a better salary than any of your friends. You can now travel, buy a house that isn’t ancient, buy a car that doesn’t suck and even start dating seriously. Your sexual market value has never been higher.

P.S.
There are a thousand and one self help books and get-rich-quick schemes out there. Don’t buy into them. I am not saying that they wont work for some people but they usually offer blustery positivity and no real plan with any robustness to it. Put the books down and follow these steps. It will suck a fair amount of the time and be down right difficult but if you are willing to do what nobody else is willing to do today, then you will be able to live like nobody else is able to live later.

Midway through June of 2018 the unthinkable had happened. Trump was having a pretty damn good year. Sure he has the tact of a lead pipe and his Twitter feed seems to be managed by the love child of one of those AIM bots that you could find on Ebaums World and a random word generator….. but real talk doe… as someone who didn’t see this coming…. its been a good year. The economy is humming, the regulatory climate is improving, Obamacare is effectively gutted, the Iran deal is a footnote in history, even Kim Jong Fatso sees the writing on the wall. Now of course this has more to do with what Trump is not doing than anything he is doing but, hey, its better to be lucky than good.

This is all of course a disaster for America. By America I am of course exclusively referring to the delusional and self-absorbed left. The screeching reached a fever….. and then a dull…… and then a dying pitch. The left’s ox was getting gored and the center was losing interest. There were butterflys floating around Hiroshima in less panic.

Like all disasters this required an immediate and dramatic response. Whether or not that response makes sense is not important. All that matters is that a crisis must be manufactured and it must be blamed on Trump. Extra points if it can be used as an excuse to use the left’s favorite “R word”. The Tar and Feather brigade, frustrated after coming up empty for months in the Russia probe, believes it has made a master stroke. A stroke that not only plays on the heart strings of matriarchal social media feeds but also has suspended the higher brain function of the entire population.

There are kids…. in Walmarts…. who don’t want to be there. Even worse they are being separated from their parents. *gasp* *hiss* *virtue signal* Shockingly enough I am not talking about the aftermath of divorce court but rather the children of parents who, uncreatively, are trying to request asylum after being caught breaching the border illegally.

It turns out that individuals who breach the border illegally are required to to taken into custody while their case is being adjudicated. If they request asylum they still must be held while their claim is analyzed. Sure they could just go to a port of entry if they had a legitimate claim and wouldn’t have to risk this treatment but hey, never let facts interrupt a good narrative. Think about it though. When you were a kid and got caught with your hand in the cookie jar was your first impulse to fess up…. or lie like an ugly rug?

For nearly 20 years children were held in lockup with their parents after being caught breaching the border together. Near the end of the Obama administration the ninth circus court of appeals ruled that children can not be held in custody as a deterrent to illegally crossing the border. The administration was faced with a bad bit of law and a tough decision. Enforce the law and BRIEFLY separate children from their parents while their case is being handled, push for a change in the law, or cowardly abdicate the responsibilities of the Executive Branch. What did they choose? Come on. Anyone who has heard the phrase chicken bleep knows where this is going….. Or maybe they listen to Mark Belling…. Anyway. They kicked that can down the road and left this little land mine for the next guy.

Now put yourself in the shoes of a prospecting illegal. Bring your kid and have a get out of jail free card or don’t bring the kids and risk deportation….. Moral hazard anyone?

Enter Trump. Think he is going to enforce the law rather than flout the law just to make people who value feelings over facts feel good? Is a duck’s ass water tight?

So now for years our government has been housing illegal immigrant children and now they are joined by some other kids that are temporarily separated from their parents while their cases are being processed. This really isn’t that interesting. Kinda sad but not interesting. The left has seized on this sadness and used it to claim that the Trump administration and all Republicans are……. wait for it…….. RRRRRRRACIST. Yeah I know. You just had to pick your jaw off the floor. Turns out originality isn’t a strength for the leftist playwrights. Now here we are. Stuck in a classic…… Mexican Stand Off. Seriously tho, this stuff kinda writes itself. We have a bad law and a bad court case combined with proper enforcement leading to an ugly situation. Any reasonable human being would respond with a change in the law and an unreasonable one would stand in the way of that change. Ted Cruz has introduced a law that would correct this problem, Paul Ryan is pushing it through the house and Democrats are vowing to stand in the way of it.

Do nothing in the stand off and let the Dems kill you slowly. Try to pass a fix and they try to stop you and then kill you. Kill them and they make you the bad guy.

After all, why solve a problem when you can perpetuate it and use it to burn your enemy?

Still think the Democrats give a crap about those kids?

*hint* Pass the bill with unanimous GOP support any leave the pathetic Dems writhing in a pool of their own proverbial blood. They will some how still try to make you look bad but that will be about as successful as Mueller.

Trump Grins as The Trump Tower of Political Madness Burns

Originally Poster 3/4/2017

The left wing media, George Seurat, and the Chinese general Wang Jingze. What do all of these have to do with the news of the day? Try this on for size.

For decades the leftists inhabiting the news media have angered conservatives by selectively ignoring stories that make anyone they are sympathetic to look bad and focusing on any story that makes someone they oppose look bad. The right has always responded with muted criticism and overt attempts to make the media like them. This strategy has only resulted in failure.

In a dramatic departure from this Trump has outright attacked and demeaned the left wing media. A strategy that coalesced the support of those fed up with the leftist media and driven the media and those that have benefited from their biased reporting completely insane. The media has sought to destroy Trump in a campaign of circular logic hate smearing. The media underpants gnome strategy goes something like this.

Step 1: Define your opponent as a hateful racist, sexist, homophobic bigot.

Step 2: Construe everything your opponent does or says as being hateful because obviously he has been defined as hateful

Step 3: profit

Rinse and repeat until your enemy is completely politically neutered. They even went so far as to state openly that anyone who votes for Trump is a racist, hateful bigot. Its like they think that anyone who supports Trump at all gets together with their friends and family during the holidays and listens to the Alt-Right Christmas album featuring Richard Spencer and David Duke singing I’m Dreaming of a White Ethno-State. Fact check: false. There is a very strick “Three Reiches and You’re Out” rule. The right doesn’t want America to be an ethno-state.

Trump has since the moment he started his campaign made numerous moves, statements, and tweets that, when considered individually seem completely insane. Each of these moves have been very easy for the left wing media to construe as hateful making it very easy for them to continue executing their preferred strategy. What they haven’t realized is that these moves are pointilist like a George Seurat painting. Seurat used a multitude of little dots that only reveal an image when viewed from further away. Taking the bait, the media has held a magnifying glass to each dot, criticized each and every one, and failed to see the bigger picture.

Why has Trump done this? In The Book of Qi the 36 strategems of Wang Jingze are described. Among these strategies are The Empty Fort Strategy, Feign Madness but Keep Your Balance, and Remove the Ladder When the Enemy Has Ascended To the Roof.

For better than 18 months Trump has delivered the building blocks to the media with which they have constructed a house of madness. In this case it is a Trump Tower of Political Madness. Making bizarre tweet after inflammatory statement Trump has referred to the media as the Fake News Media, called them an enemy of the people, conspicuously not invited outlets who have reported falsehoods about the supposed Russia connection, and then refused to set the record straight when the truth has been learned, to a “gaggle”, and even called for preventing the media from using unnamed sources. He let them build this house of insanity and seemed to inhabit it. That’s the empty fort strategy.

If that weren’t enough he went on and on about his inauguration crowd size, insisted that millions of fraudulent ballots were cast against him, stated that he had the biggest electoral victory since Reagan, I could go on but you get it. In doing so Trump has feigned madness but kept his balance and scheduled an address to a joint session of Congress for earlier this week.

In a frenzy the left wing media and their allies in the Democrat party breathlessly assembled atop the Trump Tower of Political Madness to witness the final nail in the coffin of the Trump presidency and the conservative movement. This was to be the focal point of the insanity of Trump and the Waterloo of their enemies. Shockingly to everyone Trump gave what even Anderson Cooper had to admit was one of the greatest presidential speeches of modern times. With that Trump pulled the latter out from under his enemies and trapped them, alone, on top of what is their Tower of Madness.

Now we have enough dots to back away and see the big picture. It looks like this. The Democrats and the left wing media are trapped atop the tower, Kellyanne Conway dousing the base of the tower in gasoline, and Trump casually tossing a match.

With Trump’s enemies thoroughly defeated the Republicans in congress can now get to the business of reforming the tax code, repealing and replacing Obamacare, and Trump can get the regulatory climate under control. Is this going to be smooth sailing from here? Of course not. Trump executed a good plan but he is still Trump. He isn’t going to stop taking unpresidential shots at his enemies and his economic plan has many flaws that should make any Conservative take pause but at least now we know that Trump is nobody’s fool.

Time To Take A Deep Breath About Trump

That being said we can’t just say that everything Trump does is good if we voted for him or say everything he does is bad if we voted for someone else. We need a little intellectual honesty. We need to praise him when he does something good and criticize him when he does something bad. Ben Shapiro has been saying this for some time and he is right.
Now while you were freaking out and being hyperbolic about the Muslim ban that isn’t really a Muslim ban Trump has been negotiating with the Saudis, Emirates, and others in the region to form a coalition and set up safe zones in Syria. What this means is that the refugees will have a place in their own country where they can go and be free from the constant threat of death by way of their civil war. This will eliminate the need for any other country to take in refugees on political asylum and instead we can help settle them in the safe zones so that they can start to rebuild and move on.
Perhaps instead of shrieking that Trump is the second coming of Pol Pot and Adolf Hitler put together we should take a deep breath and take a look at what is really going on. By focusing effort on putting pressure on the administration to clean up the things it is doing poorly we can be more effective than by freaking out every time Trump pours milk on a bowl of cereal.

Segregation At UWM Mansplained

Image result for UWM

By: Nick Huftel

UWM is often touted at the most racially diverse university in the state. That’s nice. Kinda makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside if you went there. For far too many indolent years that I spent as a “full time” student my heart was warmed by seeing so many minorities in the student union, or the Klotche Center, or at house parties, or at Judges…. Ok I guess at Judges the only thing I think I could see clearly was the inside of my eyelids………. Sadly I didn’t see many minorities in my classes. I always wondered why that was. When I took Africology I learned many things; that I was to blame for the destruction of the black family, that I was to blame for black crime, that I was to blame for steering blacks away from rich white suburbs, that I was to blame for, apparently, every transgression committed by a black man for the last 400 years….. but I digress. What I found really interesting was that most of the students falling into a particular recognized victim *cough* I mean minority group were spending their in-class time. How could I have never seen any of this before? Or a better question yet…. How was this being allowed?

In recent years I have become a regular acquaintance of an adviser in the School of Letters and Sciences. He commented that he had advised his first black student in 7 years. I found this interesting because many of the minority students at UWM were in the School of Letters and Sciences. He related the story of the last time he advised a black student. A black student lets call him John…. or Jerome, was sent to him to be advised. This adviser proceeded to advise Jerome as he would any other student. Then a director of the black student union….. or someone or other witnessed that this advisory appointment had occurred. The Adviser was told, apparently again, that black students are to be advised by black supervisors. Not only that Native American students are advised by Native Americans, Latinos are advised by Latinos, South East Asians are to be advised by South east Asians, even then the Laotians must be separated from the Hmong. Seems legit. What self respecting Laotian should be forced to subject himself to the advice of one of those “hill people”. Interestingly enough the only students that were availed the opportunity of experiencing some diversity in advising were…. wait for it…. White. People do better if they are advised by people “like them” but if you are white you must be subjected to the racial lottery when it came to getting an adviser.  In fact when a new student was checking in, the front desk would look at the student and decide where to send them. Until recently black students were sent to the basement. No laughing now… that’s really where. When a student called in to schedule an appointment, the front desk had a much more interesting challenge. John sounds black but Obamaniqua sounds white soooooo where should we send them? Running Deer said he hates casinos should we give him a white adviser? Juan called but I heard Barry Manilow in the background….. You get the idea.

If all that were not enough the advisers in the black advising office steered their students into Africology and other “appropriate” areas of study. Need to take a math class? Here take this class from this professor and you will get a better grade. Filled up your humanities requirements already? Take more black studies classes. This is insane! The “regular” advisers have 800 to 1000 students each semester. The minority advisers have…… considerably less. Sometimes as few as 40. Some students refuse the yoke of segregation and request a different adviser. Imagine how that appointment goes! It would seem that if you want serious advice you need to refuse to answer the question on your application about race, change your name to John or Jane Doe, and practice your ‘square ass’ accent. My acquaintance told me that the only reason he advised his second black student was that she met him at a University event and was fed up with the advice she was getting from the black advisory office. Maybe she had already learned all she could handle about hating whites.

Or maybe I am the only one outraged by this.

The Event:

2/19/2011 was certainly a day that I won’t soon forget.  All week the whole country, check that, the world has had its eyes on the state of Wisconsin. In November a democratic majority of voters elected an individual who ran on a platform of balancing the budget, getting control over public sector unions, and eventually lowering taxes. This fact has apparently been lost on a great many.

I, and the group I was with, approached the capitol building on foot from the East. As we got closer we saw an increasing concentration of people who apparently never learned how to dress themselves, use deodorant, or demonstrate in a civil mater. Say hello to the DNC rent-a-mob. Yes, many public workers from Wisconsin were there, but all week the organizing/agitating wing of the Democratic National Committee had been bussing union thugs into Madison to protest. The scene has undeniably been a community organizer’s wet dream.

The support rally was located on the South lawn of the capitol. Surrounding the entire building was this protesting mob. They moved around the capitol,  counter clockwise and did everything they could to block access to the South lawn. Very common sign being held by the protesters accused Scott Walker, and therefore the voters, of being bullies and dictators.

Oh really? The mob blocked the street, banged their silly drums, played with their cow bells, blew their vuvuzelas(grenade horns), chanted hateful epithets, cursed at us, threw soda cans, smelled…… well you know. Basically the protester mob was doing everything in its limited power to intimidate and bully. Keep in mind these are not happy people. Their faces were frozen in a permanent frown, foreheads deeply furrowed, marching mindlessly in a circle simply following the person in front of them, showing all the signs of unconscious group think. No message. No speakers. No plan. Just hate and anger directed at the people who pay their salaries.

Then, we broke through. Upon entering the South lawn  the atmosphere was dramatically different. Hope and optimism coupled with determination was in the air. People were smiling. Big time speakers delivered a message of common sense and fiscal responsibility.

Now, at this point I would like to make a side note and point out a fundamental difference between liberals and conservatives. Liberals, especially the dried up old hippies, (apparently my spell check thinks I should consider writing hippos there….. can’t say that I blame it) are not happy people. These people live their lives looking with envy at the possessions and success of others. The blame every bad thing that happens on “the rich” and think there is a cabal that seeks to keep them down. Contrast this with conservatives. Tend to be happy people who focus on the good and strive to fix the bad rather than wallow in self pity. We love people. We want everyone to be as good as they could be. We want all people to be able to reach the potential that they would have if certain obstacles were removed from their path like high taxes, excessive regulation, and too much government. We celebrate the success of the wealthy and encourage the drive of those who haven’t made it yet. We DONT try to convince people that they are incapable of achieving their dreams and need someone else to take care of them.

So as I was saying before that side note. The hate and anger was not in the tea party group of supporters. It was left out on the street. The signs on the South lawn were decidedly more clever. Free of hate and instead dripping with sarcasm. It was great. However like all good things it came to an end. As the supporters tried to leave the South lawn a mass of union thugs blocked the way. Chanting a broken record of hateful epithets that almost deserved a laugh track. Indeed I learned many things about myself. For instance. Did you know that I am a racist? Or that I am a blood sucking union buster? How about that I am bought and paid for by millionaires. I apparently can’t read. I was especially concerned to find out that I suck Koch! I pressed through and witnessed all the tell tale signs that the protesters were envious of our intellectual freedom from unionized group think and my ravishing good looks! As the mob demonstrated where all the hate and uncivil rhetoric is located in our political discourse I made my way over to the side of the street where a couple walker supporters were staked out, proudly holding the sign that read “Walker For President”.

This, of course, garnered many insults. Think about what the mob has done though. The whole country is watching this. A decided majority support the measures Walker stands for. Their silly temper tantrum has placed Walker on the fore of the national stage. Now that he is on the stage he looks…. Presidential. His resolve and determination is winning the hearts and minds of conservatives and independents across the fruited plain!

Over time more of us collected. A small contingent emerged from the crush and approached a man standing with us and demanded to know “why he hates teachers” He responded by informing them that HE is a teacher. In fact he teaches US history at UWM. This clearly got me interested so I baited him by asking what FDR had to say about public sector unions. After a couple more minutes the group sensed the weakness of their position and fled before they would have to admit anything embarrassing.

Soon after, a couple approached us with a slate of rehearsed insults. The man has had his testicles in a vice for so long he has forgotten that he has them and the woman certainly appeared to be a card carrying member of the National Association of Gals…… and she needed to trim her mustache. They informed us that we were all idiots and Walker is a shill for big business and immediately, upon taking office, proceeded to make give-aways to big business and thereby created the deficit. I tried to make the point that businesses have been fleeing the toxic business climate of Wisconsin and so the idea is that if we encourage the remaining ones to stay here and others to relocate their operations here that we can grow the tax base and make it easier to fund government. Economics was apparently a language she doesn’t speak. So she moved on to her next haymaker. “We state workers already have it so bad why do you want to take our benefits”.  *sigh* If you have it so bad why then do you work for government?  Me thinks you protest too much!  We asked what was so bad about her situation. She told us she does engineering services for Madison and she could do the same job in the private sector and make double….. So sure are you? After factoring in benefits to her total compensation package this is undoubtedly a falsehood but let’s just take it at face value. If she could make double elsewhere, what does it say about her intelligence that she refuses to change jobs. No one is forcing her to stay in that job. In fact if the government is able to keep their people and have more qualified applicants than they have positions wouldn’t that be a sign that the tax payer is paying them more than the position is really worth? We received two emphatic yet remarkably feeble single-digit-solutes and they disappeared back into the mindless crush.

Then two more came by and really made my day. One approached and started yelling at me demanding to know what I have against unions. Of course the correct response would have been to ask how much time she had but I was being civil 😉  She stated that she is not in a union but her husband is a carpenter  and he is in a union. “What do you have against my family?” She was clumsily using a number of Alinsky’s rules but I doubt she knew this. I calmly explained how in the private sector if a union requires too much then the company will lose bids and end up out of business so there is at least THAT market check on the power of the union. Public sector unions are a different story. I pointed out that FDR was against public sector unions etc etc. At this point the other woman interjected “WHY?”. Now I was a little caught off guard. Not by the question but more by the fact that this woman had apparently applied her makeup with a paint roller. She stated that without her union of…. whatever, possibly the union of people who need a makeover, she would have no protections. She asked “if I am sexually harassed what would I do?”. Now the thought that she would flatter herself by making herself think that she will ever have to worry about anyone being interested enough in her to harass her sexually made me smile. So  I started to explain that we have plenty of worker protection laws that apply to everyone but she cut me off with a series of epithets and that I am a….. racist (non-sequitur does not even begin to describe these people). I returned to the subject at hand and pointed out that I don’t have a union. She responded by suggesting that maybe everyone should have a union…… hmmmm Sorry I am not ready for a lobotomy.  After this we had determined that we had had enough and we returned home.

Unions:

Once upon a time our worker protection laws were non-existent and employers were able to do some ghastly things to their people not only at work but elsewhere to keep them coming back. Without these laws the only way workers could protect themselves was by organizing! Since then we have passed reasonable levels of employment regulation (and then some) so this need no longer exists.

Now the recent days have seen a number of sad little arguments get made by union members that don’t want to lose their collective bargaining privileges (that’s correct it’s not a right). State nurses have been convinced that without their union they would have to work repeated 16 hour  , sweatshop style, shifts and patients would start dying. They claim “I care about my patients so I need my union”. Well, you can always quit and go to a hospital that is run better in your estimation. The need to maintain a quality group of nurses would necessitate the other hospitals to also schedule better. Furthermore, if patients start dying left and right because administration is doing such a poor job then I would venture to say that a lot of the administration would find themselves out of a job. The same holds true for teachers. They claim that without the collectively  bargained work rules the schedules would get all screwed up and the students would suffer. They claim that teachers would be required to work too much and they would all quit and then there would be no teachers in the school. They have an array of similar claims. Well if the school’s schedule gets screwed up wouldn’t administration fix it to satisfy the parents of the students? If the deals became so bad and the work load so onerous that all the teachers quit wouldn’t they back off on the requirements until an equilibrium is reached? For the rest of us we take care of these issues by using the market to our advantage. If we demand too much we lose our job. If our employer demands more than is fair we leave and go work somewhere else. Competition between prospective employees maintains a check on the demands of the little guy and competition between employers acts as a check on the demands of the big guy. This ladies and gentlemen is true fairness.

Union hacks would never believe any of this is possible so allow me to illustrate. In September when I started the job that I currently have there were a number of rules. I stipulated that I need to be able to leave at a certain time on nights I have class. Also, from time to time it may be necessary for me to leave early to study for an exam or work with a group on a project. When these times come up I need to be able to leave without having any problems. I INDIVIDUALLY NEGOTIATED this. I have never had any problems with this arrangement. Now according to the union mentality this should not be possible. As far as they are concerned I must never be allowed to leave when I have to, and I am likely getting raped by my employer all the time since I have no union.

The reality of the situation is that the unions have repeatedly lied to their members and have brainwashed them into thinking that they would die a slow painful death next week if they lost their union today. This is total crap. Let me tell you who is really hurt by the unions. The poor! Take any unskilled labor union. There are people that would LOVE to have the opportunity to do the job that these union members are doing and they would be willing to do it for less pay than the unions require. These people are shut out of the workforce. Why? Because unions require a certain pay scale so the rights of the individual to negotiate are trampled by the privileges of the union. Now, if a you were to tell someone who is not employed they cannot compete for a job because you colluded with others and made your employer an offer they couldn’t refuse, and if they try to get a job you would damage them and the employer, you would be guilty of a crime. So why do we allow unions to do the same thing?

Now what about public sector unions? Let’s take the teachers union as an example. There are far more qualified applicants than there are positions. Why is this? Well it is because the word has long ago gone out that if you become a teacher you will be taken care of by the rest of us. You won’t get rich but you will have a Cadillac insurance package and a pension that will ensure that you will always be able to live comfortably. For the risk adverse this sounds like a great deal! The problem is that the scale removes the ability of the unemployed yet qualified applicant to negotiate a deal that is 1)better than their current situation of being unemployed and 2) better for the employer (the tax payer) because they will do the job for less money then what the position currently pays. The union has destroyed the right of this individual to bargain for a job. What’s more the union automatically takes dues from its members and uses those dues to elect officials that are more sympathetic to them. This perpetuates the cycle of big government as these officials are then the ones who will negotiate the next union deal. The new deal is better, yielding more dues to get the next sympathetic politician elected, and it goes on and on. What is happening here? Well if a band of teachers cornered you on the street…… or in Madison and demanded that you give them an exorbitant percentage of your earnings or charged you a confiscatory amount of money to LIVE IN YOUR OWN HOUSE!!!! or else they would throw you in their dungeon, these people would be guilty of a crime! So then why is it ok for them to do exactly this same thing but hide behind the union and the guise that they only care about the kids? This is nothing more than theft!

So then what would be the correct, free market, solution? Allow school districts to set the compensation and rules of every position. If you have a great deal of qualified applicants then you step down the compensation and if you get no qualified applicants then you sweeten to compensation and make the rules more friendly. The various districts will, over time, find an equilibrium point. This is the point that is fair for everyone. Why? Because the school can go to the teacher and say, with confidence, that this is the most I can give you without having someone just as good as you coming in and offering to do your job for less than you do. The school can then go to the tax payers and say that this is the least amount we can extract from you without losing teachers and ruining the schools. This ladies and gentlemen is real fairness!

Instead of standing for fairness an army of union goons are storming the capitol and demanding that the rest of us SUBMIT OR ELSE!!! This is not fairness. This is not what democracy (yes lower case) looks like. This is the situation that FDR warned about! Now FDR was never able to fathom the private sector or business at all but he did understand government very well. he had this to say about public sector unions.

“The process of collective bargaining, as usually understood, cannot be transplanted into the public service,” Roosevelt wrote in 1937 to the National Federation of Federal Employees. Yes, public workers may demand fair treatment, wrote Roosevelt. But, he wrote, “I want to emphasize my conviction that militant tactics have no place” in the public sector. “A strike of public employees manifests nothing less than an intent on their part to prevent or obstruct the operations of Government.”

Frank Zeidler, the last card-carrying Socialist to run a major city, and the former mayor of Milwaukee said this in 1969, Government unions “can mean considerable loss of control over the budget, and hence over tax rates,” he warned there was “a revolutionary principle rather quietly at work in American government,” .

These are pretty apt descriptions of what is going on in Madison right now. So when the union thugocrats march around pointing out that WE THE TAXPAYER (specifically private sector tax payers) are engaging in union busting I say “here here!”

The Solution:

The solution to the deficit will take more than just cutting spending. We have watched as business after business has left the state of Wisconsin for states with more favorable tax climates. All taxes do is increase the cost of doing business in a particular location. If the taxes are high enough you increase the cost of doing business enough that you get less business being done. Also if a company can have a lower cost of doing business somewhere else they are then incentivized to go to the greener pastures. This is a concept represented by the laffer curve. Based on what has transpired so far it is safe to say that we are at “point B” on the curve. Increasing taxes will simply further shrink the tax base and the budget hole will just be bigger the next time we break out the ledgers (which will be in two years). So we must balance the budget by decreasing spending. This is painful to some, yes, but it is totally necessary. Then when that is done we will have sent an important signal to businesses that Wisconsin is dedicated to fiscal responsibility. We can target businesses and incentivize them to locate here and bring good jobs with them. The left will howl that we are making corporate “give aways”, ignore them. These jobs will grow the tax base and create a surplus. We use the surplus to lower taxes and further improve the business climate which then attracts more companies and the tax base grows more. Continue the cycle until we make our way to the “top” of the laffer curve. This, ladies and gentlemen, is the solution. This is real progress. Obstruct at your own peril!

It would be fun to start tagging people in this. But for the moment at least I will refrain. It would be fun to start tagging people in this. But for the moment at least I will refrain.

Several days ago the Honduran Military escorted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya from his home and sent him into exile in Costa Rica. Immediately President Obama denounced Zelaya’s removal as “illegal” and called it a military coup. If that language isn’t harsh enough the interim president’s administration is being called a “regime”, “aggressor”, and in violation of democratic principles. However this spin does not tell the whole story, it does not even tell half of the story. I am going to back up and put the situation into context, analyze the whole story, and see what this all says about Leftism in the Americas.

Over the last several decades Latin American Leftism has become entrenched in the countries of Venezuela and Nicaragua. Marxist Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez rids himself of the encumbrance of term limits and opens the door for perpetual rule. Chavez then guarantees himself victory in ensuing elections by locating polling places where his supporters are most concentrated and then relocating the opposition to areas with no polling places. Time and again he rejected UN election requirements that were intended to give his elections some semblance of fairness yet the UN was willing to declare him the legitimate winner anyway. It is also instructive that President Jimmy Carter was willing to smile approvingly upon the election practices of Chavez by declaring him the legitimate winner of his elections.

Now to understand what is happening in Latin America it is important to understand what Hugo Chavez is. Chavez has been labeled a Marxist by many however I believe that he better fits the mold of a Mussolini Fascist. At this time it is important to note that I am not saying he is Hitler or his Fascism will tend toward genocide, rather he desires to use the full power of the state to improve the condition of his people. His Socialism lacks the total takeover of industry and the desire to meld seamlessly with other Socialist nations the way Marxism dictates. Instead Chavez nationalizes some industries while forcing the big corporations to capitulate to the desires of the state to avoid nationalization and at the same time limits entrepreneurialism. Chavez uses the nations oil wealth to improve the conditions of the populations just enough to maintain his power. These are all basic tenants of the Fascism practiced by Mussolini. He places everything within the sphere of influence of the state and allows nothing to be done completely outside of the state and all for the betterment of the people. If the parallels were not strong enough already Chavez is adept at the use of Sorellian state myths that unite the people and motivate them toward the desired action. This strategy is quintessentially Fascist as both Mussolini and Hitler declared that the value of rhetoric is not whether it is true but what it motivates people to do.

At the same time as Chavez revived Italian Fascism, this time in Venezuela, he had supported likeminded men’s rise to power in the neighborhood. One of these men is Daniel Ortega and the other is Manuel Zelaya. Now it is instructive that Obama was willing to sit and listen intently as Ortega bashed the Unites States for about an hour then followed the rant by saying “I’m grateful that President Ortega did not blame me for things that happened when I was three months old”. We should also understand that during an interview with Sir David Frost for the Al Jazeera English programme Frost Over The World in March 2009, Ortega suggested that he would like to change the constitution to allow him to run again for president. So now Ortega wants to do in Nicaragua what Chavez did in Venezuela! The final member of our three amigos is Manuel Zelaya. As Obama has pointed out over and over again Zelaya was the democratically elected President of Honduras. Unfortunately like Chavez and Ortega the Honduran Constitution was too binding for Zelaya. As a result Zelaya sought to rewrite the Constitution to allow him to be freed from term limits much like Chavez did and Ortega wishes to do.

Now before we get too into the situation in Honduras there is one more bit of background that we need to look at. As we have all witnessed the Iranian people have been in the streets protesting what appears to have been a stolen election. Now of course this is puzzling because the President is a figurehead in Iran since all the power is held by the supreme leader Khomeini. To understand what was happening we must keep in mind what the Iranian people have witnessed. First they saw Saddam get deposed by an American led coalition. It’s critical to remember that there was no more hated individual by the Iranians than Saddam. The reason for this hatred is simple; Saddam perpetrated a brutal war against Iran that inflicted millions of casualties on the people of Iran. When the U.S. deposed Saddam the people of Iran breathed a collective sigh of relief, while the Ayatollah became apprehensive that the war would spread to Iran. Furthermore Khomeini was afraid that the Iranian people would demand the same kind of freedom that the Iraqi people were getting. In short I’m saying that Iran funded the insurgency in Iraq so heavily because they were terrified of the fact that while we were bringing freedom to Iraq, a lust for liberty was on the move in Iran. At the same time the Iranian people were forced to listen to a ridiculous clown of a president begin a 4 year tirade that further turned the national stomach toward the regime. Iran was a fairly advanced civilization and the population was tired of the sectarian darkness they were forced to live under. The time was ripe for change!

We must realize that while the Left was declaring Iraq a failure and saying that it was a recruiting tool for terrorism, really our actions were generating a thirst for liberty. While we were told our actions were strengthening our enemies, really they were being put on the ropes.

In response to the Iranian people being fed up with the status quo Khomeini cooked up a devious little plan. The people wanted a choice, they wanted the same power of self determination that the Iraqi people had gained so Khomeini decided to give them what they wanted. Well at least he decided to make them THINK they were getting what they wanted. Khomeini held an election between the hard liner he liked so much, Ahmadinejad, and a reform candidate that embodied everything the people wanted. He thought that by defeating the people’s candidate in what was to appear to be a fair election the murmuring would stop. The people were to believe that the Ayatollah had a popular mandate to continue things as they were, and anyone who disagreed was to believe that they were in the minority. After all he saw Hugo Chavez do the same thing in Venezuela, why would he believe that it was not going to work? The election did not go as planned when the election was too obviously stolen. The exit polls predicted a victory for the reform candidate before Ahmadinejad was named the winner. What’s more as soon as the polls closed the election was called before it was even possible that the votes were counted. The Iranians and the world were to believe that Ahmadinejad had garnered 57% of the vote before the votes could have even been counted.

As a result of the obvious scam of an election the Iranian people were apoplectic. People took to the streets and protesters numbered in the 100,000’s. The people were fed up and they were willing to fight and even die for freedom. A once in a lifetime opportunity presented itself to the West, and was placed directly on the desk of Barack Obama and what did he do??????? Nothing. With an immense amount of leverage sitting literally next door Obama sat on his hands. He said that it would be foolish to meddle; an American president can’t be seen as meddling in Iranian affairs. As a result Iranian blood began to flow in the streets and the last best hope for peace and freedom in Iran is breathing its last breath. Ahmadinejad has declared that the “soft overthrow” is over. We did not want it to be said that the U.S. was behind a regime change, well guess what, they are blaming the rebellion on us anyway. What’s worse is that through our inaction we have enabled another dictatorship to survive in the world. Through our inaction another cry for liberty was brought down to a whimper, and squashed. I sure am glad the French did not have the same attitude toward our revolution.

Now I know what most of you are thinking. You are thinking “shouldn’t we just let the Iranian people worry about Iran”. Persians born in that distant nation may not seem like our brethren but were they not born with the same birthright of liberty as us? I argue that wherever the cry for freedom goes out in the world we must answer that call. After all if we do not fight for them, who will? This isn’t 1776. Tyrant’s armies are not armed with mere muskets. All that is needed for evil and tyrants to succeed is for good men and the US to do nothing.

Fresh on the heels of the Iranian debacle Manuel Zelaya is removed from his office in Honduras. The background is critical in this story as well. Zelaya, imitating Chavez, decided that the term limits needed to be done away with. Zelaya chose to hold a referendum that would allow him to assemble a constitutional committee which would be able to rewrite the constitution according to his liking. Thankfully the supreme court of Honduras declared such an action Illegal. Zelaya did not care, he wanted perpetual power and was going to hold the referendum anyway and violate his constitution and the trust of the people that elected him. This is the backdrop to the military of Honduras escorting Zelaya out of the country. Zelaya was replaced with a member of the same liberal party that Zelaya was a member of. It can not be stated strongly enough that Zelaya acted in defiance of the Honduran Constitution and the Supreme Court of Honduras. This is why he had to be removed from power.

As the Honduran Constitution was upheld and protected from a Fascist tyrant what did Obama do? Did he praise the Hondurans military for bravely defying the tyrant and acting in the best interests of the people and the Constitution? NO! Obama condemned the action and called the removal a coup, what’s more the interim administration is being called a regime. After he was removed from his home Zelaya changed from his stately attire into a plane T shirt so that he could more easily gain the sympathy of the world by making it look like the Military came for him in the night and threw him out of the country while still in his PJ’s. Next he appealed to the UN and made his rounds in the U.S. As it stands now Zelaya is going to return to Honduras with the backing of Obama; constitutionality and legitimate democracy be damned!

Now the question you should be asking yourself is why does Obama seem to like tyrants so much? Through his inaction we saw a repeat of Tienanmen Square and the perpetuation of one dictator, and now through his decided course of action he is returning another tyrant to power. Obama seems to have some kind of fascination and approval of dictators. Why do I think this is? I think that this is the case because deep down Obama dreams of overturning the 22nd amendment and manipulating future elections with the help of his buddies over at ACORN and serve as the benevolent dictator of the United States. The reason that Obama did not object when Ortega ranted for nearly an hour about the evils of the United States is because he agrees with and admires Ortega. Obama has stated that he thinks the Constitution is full of negative liberties that limit what the government can do for people, so is it so hard to believe that he won’t try to be like his buddies in Latin America and simply serve for as long as he wants to? There is no limit to what Obama is willing to do to advance his radical world view. Obama is willing to destroy the economy with Cap and Trade in order to bring about his Hegelian Utopia. Obama is willing to risk destroying capitalism and the health care system to bring our nation closer to that old Fascist dream of “everything within the state, nothing outside the state”.

The one thing that Obama can not control is us. He can’t stop us from gathering and sharing our ideas. He can’t stop us from retaking the Republican Party and returning it to the Classical Liberal doctrines of limited government, personal liberty, and property rights. What Obama can’t stop is the next election. The mantra of hope and change is past, and now everyone who is willing to see is aware of what Obama and the far left is up to. Big brother may be watching but we can still give him a bloody nose. The next round of elections is ours for the taking; we just need to find the right leadership. We need to find the candidates that will stand firm in their convictions and not be ashamed be cling to their guns and religion. We need to stand up to the climate change hoax and get our Senators to stop Cap and Trade. We need to get our representatives to stand against Obama care as it is surely a stepping stone to the same kind of disastrous health care that Canada and Britain have. We need to stand up to members of our own party and never again elect Presidents that are as enamored with big government as the Liberals are.

Here in Wisconsin Scott Walker is a start. In 2010 taking back Congress is another good step. However we will not win anything till we get our own house in order. We need to stop putting our faith in men who disappear for days to have affairs in other countries. We need to stop putting our faith in men who say what we want to hear to get elected then become addicted to power after only a short tenure. We need men and women of character who can win this war and preserve our great country as the final bastion of liberty in a world gone mad. The radicals have overreached and will continue to overreach because their answer to every question is “more government, MORE! MORE!! MORE!!!!” The next round of elections is ours for the taking, the only people who can stop us, is us.
